![]() ![]() Descriptive and statistical tests were carried out on the activities observed within this taxonomy to develop a framework for comparing the reading patterns for readers working in individual and document sharing environments. The resulting interaction was monitored and electronically logged for each of these environments, which then provided us with user-navigational patterns taxonomy. The readings took place in two settings, private and document sharing, where in the latter environment each document was shared among a group of students. ![]() The purpose of this study was to examine the navigational patterns of graduate students' text markings when they interact with electronic documents during an active reading process, thus taking on the role of authors. ![]() It also discusses the potential impact of ChatPDF implementation on library systems, making it an original and valuable contribution to the field of library science. Originality: This paper introduces ChatPDF as a solution to the limited PDF interaction capabilities in library systems, highlighting its unique features and benefits, such as summarization, recommendations, multi-lingual support, and AI assistance. The paper also identifies limitations and opportunities for future research in evaluating the impact of ChatPDF on user experience and library systems. It recommends libraries to consider implementing ChatPDF to enhance user engagement and satisfaction with their digital resources. The app is developed with appropriate system configuration and Android Studio framework. It has inbuilt feature to display the meaning of a word and also provides various user-friendly functionalities which improve users' experience. To cater these problems, we have set out to develop a reading app. Mobile phone is the most important carrier of mobile reading, currently the functions of reading apps in the platform is gradually becoming perfect, but they still have some shortcomings such as unable to display meaning of a word within the app itself, not tracking users reading progress and text-to-speech for given content. The characteristics of mobile learning determine that it has unique advantages compared with traditional education, including the following characteristics: (1) Readers can read anytime and anywhere (2) Readers can make full use of trivial time to learn (3) It can meet readers personalized learning needs. Mobile learning is a new form of learning using wireless mobile communication network technology and wireless mobile communication devices (such as mobile phones, PDA, Pocket PC, etc.) to obtain education information, education resources and education services. In recent years, with the rapid development in technology and the popularity of mobile intelligent terminals (such as smart phones, tablets, etc.), mobile learning begins to rise and attracts widespread attention. ![]()
